Following Kenny Florian’s impressive first round submission win over Joe Stevenson at UFC 91, Florian was back to his post-fight routine, shouting that B.J. Penn was a master, and that it was time for him to kill that master.
To the untrained eye, it could have looked uncouth and quite ridiculous, but coming from Kenny Florian, it was quite obviously an attempt at some positive P.R. towards this potential fight. Florian clearly wants to make it happen, and is going to do everything in his power to do so.
In the meantime, in an exclusive interview with MMAWeekly Florian commented on who he would like his next matchup to be, if it’s not Penn:
”Sean Sherk, that’s a fight I would love to take,” stated Florian. “That fight is one of the ones I really want to show everyone how far I’ve come. My wrestling’s a lot better than that and I’m going to continue to get better at it. There’s still so much for me to learn, there’s so much for me to improve on, and I’m going to do it.”
”This one would be ten times better and I believe with a different result.”
I only see one problem with this fight. What happens if Sherk wins?

The only way Sherk wins this one is if he hops back on the juice
