There’s been a lot of talk and speculation about who’s next for Liddell, but definitive answers have been given by the powers that be. Reported on “CBSSports.com”http://www.sportsline.com/mma/story/11195225 Liddell, who last fought a losing match to current light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans, was interested in a rematch against Keith Jardine.

Dana White is quoted in that article:

”It will not be Jardine,” said White.

”If (Mauricio Rua) Shogun defeats Mark Coleman in Ireland, it could be Shogun—or it could be Wanderlei (Silva),” said White.

Liddell’s next match will be March 7, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio.
