The beautiful thing about MMA is that it so closely parallels real life. Anything can happen. If a fighter is less than absolutely prepared it is likely he will loose to the man who is. Inferior fighters rarely win, while the lesser man might turn the tide if given the opportunity. And sometimes, if his courage holds, luck can help a man win.

Emelianenko canceled a press tour to train, and Arlovski has altered his training to try a new angle. I believe that this Arlovski will be Emelianenko’s biggest test as well as his best performance. Both fighter’s know this. If Arlovski get’s sloppy because of a stunning shot to the head Fedor will finish him. I see this fight going to Fedor Emelianenko because Arlovski will make that mistake.

However, If Fedor makes one mistake, Arlovski has the power to put him down. But I don’t see Fedor making that mistake, and I don’t see anyman making it past the second round with Fedor.
Fedor by TKO in the second round.

As for Josh Barnet vs. Gilbert Yvel
Although Yvel has knockout power, I see Barnet skillfully avoiding a heavy punch and submitting Yvel by the second round.
Barnet by submission

Matt Lindland vs. Vitor Belfort
If it goes to decision Lindland. I don’t think it will. Belfort TKO.

Renato “Babalu” Sobral vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou
I love watching Babalu fight. The guy can get it done and I think he will by submission.

Paul Buentello vs. Kiril “Baby Fedor” Sidelnikov
Nice nickname but Buentello TKO by the end of the second round.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Vladimir Matyushenko
This one is a tough call but Nogueria by decision. It could go the other way, but I don’t think so.

Jay Hieron vs. Jason High
Hieron, by early TKO

L.C. Davis vs. Bao Quach
Davis by KO

Antonio Duarte vs. Albert Rios
Duarte’s ground game will be too much for Rios.
Duarte by submission in round 1.

Brett Cooper vs. Patrick Speight
Cooper by TKO, maybe as early as the first round.
