I probably use the hip sweep or hip bump sweep more than any other because even if I don’t complete the sweep it sets me up for the kimura or guillotine when they attempt to block it by posting an arm or by pushing their weight back into me.

How to Set Up the Triangle Choke from Double Wrist Control

Brandon is postured up in my guard. To begin the set up I secure double wrist control.

I cross Brandon’s left arm over his right arm to break his posture.

To try to regain his posture Brandon pulls his arms back in, as he does this I push his right arm between my legs and reposition my right hand around the back of his neck to keep his posture broken down.
